Baptisim

Darian was baptized on valentines day. Family came, Wade sang, Darian now has two CTR rings and he wears them both.

Fighting Fear

Why would a sensible woman put plastic wrap over her sink?

In the spring as the temperatures warm the queens rise and seek new nesting sites. My home was the rising place of this particular queen. She doesn't look so big in the picture, but the fear that filled me as I locked my baby in the other room and so slowly and carefully trapped that queen. Tears streamed down my cheeks from facing the fear inside and the hope that the queen wouldn't escape until my knight could come and rescue me and mine.

Kris has a family too.

Kris was over on Valentines so I took advantage of them.  I lost Justin's picture.  He was the Hulk like Darian.

My Valentine Family

Here is what happens when I go on the cheap for a holiday.

Hair

"Darian, how do you like your hair cut?"

"I don't"

"Why"

"You shaved it and I am bald" (expination that if you are bald you don't have any hair and he has some)

"Why did I do that?"

"Because I cut my hair at school"

"Are you going to play with scissors like that again?"

"No!"

Darian had a birthday and turned 8! He is so excited aboutanything and everything. My devoted chocolate lover threw me one and went strawberry. We did get a little chocolate in the mint chocolate chip ice cream.

Two camels talking: “I don’t care what any one says, I’m thirsty!”

Two elephants talking: “I don’t care what any one says, I can’t remember a thing.”

Two flies talking: “How ‘ya doin’?” “Not so good. The baby had trouble sleeping and I was up walking the ceiling all night.”

Two Kangaroos talking: “I sure hope it doesn’t rain today. I hate it when the kids play inside.”

Everyone else will just have to wonder why. (I hope Joseph doesn't have to wonder.)
