New Years Thaw

After the great snow of 2008 came the new years thaw. Darian and Wade were very worried when they woke to take care of the animals. Darian and Wade joined in prayer to ask that the floods would go down. Darian was afraid to let the goats out of the barn in case they went too close to the flood and were swept away. Their prayers were answered and the floods did go down.

Our power went out two days before Christmas. We thought we would have Christmas without power. Apperently Santa noticed and fixed the power at midnight Christmas Eve. It was a nice present.

More Pictures.

You get something this cute and you have to share.

Elowyn's Blessing Day

It was a special day for Elowyn, so we thought we would shoot the whole family.

Elowyn Eleena Davenport pictures

Here are the "profesional" shots taken at the hospital. You know how sometimes pictures don't quite look like the person. I think these look like Elowyn. They capture her personality.

Elowyn Eleena Davenport

She came yesterday. 6 lb. 3 oz. 19.5 inches.
Perfectly healthy with a bunch of hair. She wasn't to happy about leaving her old home, but she has grown accustomed to this new one. She likes to sleep a lot. Mother and father have not slept much, and I am aware that that is a trend for the future.

For the record, the father has already changed five diapers.

Random thoughts.

Election: That didn't go very well.
Work: Customers, stop whining and be happy why don't you.
Family: Where is my wife? She doesn't answer the phone.
Home: Are they done constructing yet?
Church: That's all good.

That was cleansing.
